Right to Cancel and Return Period

Under UK distance‑selling regulations, you have a statutory 14‑day cooling‑off period starting from the date you or your nominated carrier receive your ordered goods, during which you may cancel your order for any reason without providing an explanation. After notifying us of cancellation, you must send the items back to us within a further 14‑day period.

To be eligible for returns, items must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, with all original tags, labels and original packaging intact. Goods must be in resalable condition. We may deduct from your refund any loss of value caused by excessive handling or wear beyond reasonable product inspection.

How to Initiate a Return

All return requests must obtain prior authorisation from our customer service team. Unauthorised returns will not be processed.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for direct return‑shipping expenses when returning unwanted non‑defective items. Original delivery charges are non‑refundable in such cases.

If items arrive damaged, defective, incorrect or do not match our product description, Maati Crafts will cover valid return‑shipping costs upon verification of the issue. You must report damage or defects to us within 48 hours after receiving your parcel and provide relevant photographic evidence.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned merchandise, we will send you an email notification to approve or reject your refund application.

If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method. We will complete your refund within 14 calendar days after we receive your returned goods or receive valid proof you have shipped the items back, in accordance with UK legal requirements. Please allow extra processing time for banks, card issuers or payment providers to post funds back to your account; this processing delay is outside our control.

If you selected premium expedited delivery at checkout, we will only refund the cost of our standard delivery service.

Exchanges

We process exchanges only for defective, damaged or incorrectly‑shipped goods subject to stock availability. If you would like an exchange, please contact info@maaticraftsl.shop with your order details. If replacement stock is unavailable, we will offer you a full refund instead. We do not support size‑swap exchanges for change‑of‑mind returns; you may return unwanted goods for refund and place a brand‑new order.
